Charles Clay says he won't need knee surgery

by Keith Kraska | Fri, Dec 29th 5:39am EST

Bills tight end Charles Clay said he won't need surgery on his knee, and expects to be 100 percent for 2018. (Buffalo News)

Fantasy Impact:

Clay has dealt with a nagging knee injury that caused him to miss three games in October and early November. After he returned, it took some time to return to the usage he was seeing early in the year, but he has been targeted 19 times in the past two games. He faces Miami next, and he has done well against his old team, averaging 6.4 targets, 4.2 catches and 54 yards in five games with three touchdowns. He's a low-end starter for those still playing in Week 17, and a bargain as the 15th-costliest tight end on FanDuel.
