Elvis Dumervil not returning to 49ers

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting the San Francisco 49ers informed pass rusher Elvis Dumervil that they will not pick up his 2018 option. (Ian Rapoort on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After one season in San Francisco, the 49ers are moving on from Dumervil. Coming off of decent year for a player who was on the field for a limited amount of snaps, Dumervil still managed 6.5 sacks in 16 games. Even at the ripe age of 34, Dumervil still has some gas left in the tank and should land with a team in need of help getting to the quarterback.
