Mike Wallace signs one-year deal with Eagles

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Eagles have agreed to a one-year deal with veteran wide receiver Mike Wallace. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Welcome to the old home of Torrey Smith, who the Eagles released this offseason. It's an odd signing when the team has Mack Hollins, who appeared ready to contribute in year two. Wallace has been someone to complain when he doesn't get enough targets, so it's unclear what he's looking for at this point at his advanced age. This may very well be the last stop on his career tour that's now included five teams, so he may be settling for a smaller role for a chance to win a championship. Whatever the case, he's not quite the field-stretcher he once was, but can still offer a consistent veteran presence on the field. He's someone to avoid in fantasy drafts.
