Brandin Cooks is being traded from the New England Patriots to the Los Angeles Rams for a 1st-round pick and a 6th-round pick, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The 1st-round pick from the Rams is the 23rd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. The Patriots are also sending a 4th-round pick to the Rams in the deal. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Cooks caught 65 passes for more than 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns this past season with the New England Patriots, but he never seemed to get into the rhythm with Tom Brady that many hoped he would. Now, just a year after trading their own 1st-round pick in a trade for Cooks, the Patriots are shipping him off to the Rams for theirs.
