Troy Fumagalli had surgery, not participating in OTAs

Denver Post's Ryan O'Halloran reports that fifth-round draft pick Troy Fumagalli is not participating in OTAs due to sports hernia surgery he had earlier in the offseason. (Ryan O'Halloran )
Fantasy Impact:
It's not as if Fumagalli had a great shot to start as a rookie, but the Broncos don't have the tight end position locked down by anyone, so it wasn't exactly out of question. But not getting on the field with your teammates is a guarantee to be at the bottom of the depth chart. As of now, the competition for the job is likely down to Jeff Heuerman and Jake Butt, though we'd expect Heuerman to win the job with Butt himself coming off a torn ACL.
