Kerryon Johnson finished with four carries for 25 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Buccaneers. Johnson did not receive a target.
Fantasy Impact:
Johnson gave way to LeGarrette Blount who was the primary ballcarrier with the first-team offense on Friday. It looks like the Lions backfield is setting up to be a three-way timeshare between Johnson, Blount and Theo Riddick in obvious passing situations. The split could hurt all three backs fantasy value. What else do you expect from the new Lions coach that fell off the Bill Belichick coaching tree?
