Haloti Ngata suspended 4 games for PED use
by Clinton H. | Thu, Dec 4th 3:44pm EST
Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata has been suspended for the rest of the regular season for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances, the team announced Thursday. Ngata would be eligible to return for the playoff is the Ravens make it in. He will forfeit $2.1 million in salary as a result of the suspension for using Adderrall. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Ngata was having one of his better seasons and the Ravens defense has been quality as of late for fantasy owners. The Ravens are likely to turn to Timmy Jernigan a second-round rookie to fill the large hole left by Ngata which will inevitably lower the quality of their run defense as Ngata has been an all-pro at the position.
