by Alex Johnson | Sat, Dec 8th 12:16am EST

The Jets announced Friday afternoon that linebacker Darron Lee has been suspended by the NFL for four games for violating the NFL’s Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse. With only four games left, his season is effectively over. He will not be paid during the absence. (New York Jets)

Fantasy Impact:

His season ends with 74 tackles, three interceptions (one returned for a TD), and five passes defensed in 12 games. The Jets will have a decision to make in the offseason of whether or not they want to pick up Lee’s fifth-year option, which would pay him $10.2 million in 2020.
