Tedric Thompson out Week 16

Fantasy Impact:

Thompson is dealing with swelling in his chest that was discovered earlier in the week while the team was examining his shoulder. Head coach Pete Carroll said Thompson cannot play until the team knows more. “He’s got some swelling in there that’s of question, so we’re just making sure we are doing the right thing,” Carroll said, via Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times. “Just some fluid in an unusual place. It’s not a life-threatening deal at all. It’s just, you can’t play with it so we’ve got to wait until it goes away.” Thompson inherited the starting free safety job in the fifth game of the season when Earl Thomas suffered a season-ending injury.
