Kevin Byard, Titans agree to extension

The Titans and S Kevin Byard have agreed to terms on a five-year $70.5 million contract extension with $31 million in guaranteed money. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The new deal makes Byard the highest-paid safety in the NFL. The agreement also makes the 2018 interception leader (8) the highest-paid safety in league history. He'll play a key role in manning the Titans' defense, which could have to carry the team at times, in 2019.
