Torrey Smith to open camp on the PUP list

Panthers beat writer Jourdan Rodrigue is reporting WR Torrey Smith (knee) has been placed on the PUP list. (Jourdan Rodrigue on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Smith, the veteran wideout in Carolina, missed five games last season with this same knee injury. And while he will open camp on the PUP, the team is not concerned about his Week 1 playing status. Currently, Smith is snug behind Curtis Samuel and D.J. Moore on the wide receiver depth chart.
