David Fales unimpressive in loss

Fales completed five of 14 passes for 62 yards and an INT in the Lions' 31-3 loss to the Patriots in Thursday's preseason opener.
Fantasy Impact:
Fales drew the start over Tom Savage and looked wholly unimpressive, going for a pedestrian 62 yards on 14 attempts and throwing a pick. He finished with a 20.5 QB Rating in the blowout. He's looking to land a backup job behind Matthew Stafford but will have to outperform Tom Savage to do so.
