Lamar Miller went down after taking a helmet to the left knee by Maliek Collins. Miller appeared distraught with his hand pressed up against his head as he was carted off. The early speculation is that an MCL injury is likely with a fear of a torn ACL. (Ed Werder on Twitter)
Miller would be out for the season if this is, in fact, a torn ACL. With Miller out, Duke Johnson would be the only experienced RB left in the Texans' backfield. Johnson does have experience as a lead back in college (242 carries his Junior season) but it's unclear if Head Coach Bill O'Brien would grant him a featured workload. The Texans will likely look to add another RB via free agency or trade so that will be something to keep an eye on. For now, however, Duke Johnson is the Texans RB to own as a top 30 option.
