Thompson was largely replaced by Wendell Smallwood last week, and that should be the same this week. Still, Smallwood isn't fantasy-relevant given the limited role and difficult matchup against Minnesota. It's unclear when Thompson will be able to return, but hopefully the extended rest following the Thursday night game will allow him to be back for Week 9. He did not practice any day this week ahead of the Vikings' game.
