T.J. Heath re-signs with Dolphins

The Dolphins promoted Heath to the active roster in December in a move to help buffer injuries to the secondary. At that time, Heath had only been on the practice squad for a month. He finished the season playing only two games for Miami. The journeyman has been a practice player for four other teams. Heath is the fifth cornerback currently on the Dolphins' roster. Fantasy Impact:
Heath joins fellow cornerbacks Brent Grimes, Jamar Taylor, Will Davis and the newly signed Brice McCain. The Dolphins like to play man with their outside guys. The spot opposite Brent Grimes is open for business and perhaps a player from this group will fill that need although it's unlikely. The Dolphins have more work to do.
