Domonique Brown runs in the 4.6 range during Pro Day

by Brian Tesch | Tue, Mar 17th 9:15am EDT

According to NFL.com, Louisville RB Dominique Brown recorded 40 times of 4.65 and 4.63 seconds at his Friday Pro Day. Brown also had a 32 1/2-inch vertical and a 9-1 broad jump. He ran a 4.42 short shuttle and a 7.05 3-cone drill. Scouts said that he caught the ball well for a RB. (NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

It seems that the 6'2, 230 pound Brown is a little below average athletically for an NFL back, but does posses above average size, and it's encouraging to hear that he can catch out of the backfield. Brown is projected to go in round 5 of the NFL draft by CBS.com's Rob Rang, but may slip out of the draft entirely after a lackluster pro day. He's intriguing, but is going to have to swim upstream to have fantasy value.
