A 2017 fourth-round pick out of Colorado, Thompson has played three seasons for the Seahawks. He was a full-time starter in 2018, but in 2019 his season was cut short after he tore his labrum. Thompson appears to be fully healthy heading into the 2020 season, and Seattle is releasing him as a salary cap move. Hopefully another team trusts that he’s healthy enough to play at a high level, as it could be difficult to get a physical given current league conditions.
