Jerry Hughes recovering well, ‘on schedule’ following offseason surgeries

by Adam Koffler | Texans Correspondent | Sun, Apr 19th 8:46am EDT

Regarding offseason wrist and groin surgeries, Bills DE Jerry Hughes told the Buffalo news that, “Everything seems to be on track, going along well with my rehab.” His trainers tell people that he is “on schedule.” (Nick Wojton on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Hughes, a former first-round pick in 2010 by the Colts, was traded to Buffalo in 2013. Hughes has yet to miss a game in his seven-year tenure with the Bills, and it seems he’s on track for another full season in 2020 according to him and his trainers. His days of 9.5 and 10 sack-seasons are probably behind the veteran, but his motor and high football IQ are still among the best in the business coming off the edge. In his career, Hughes has a total of 365 tackles, 51 sacks, and 12 forced fumbles. Look for him to continue to be a leader for what has become a very stout and formidable Buffalo defense.
