Jayron Kearse suspended 3 games for violating NFL substance abuse policy

Lions S Jayron Kearse has been suspended without pay for three weeks for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. (Tim Twentyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Kearse can still practice with the team during the preseason, but he won’t be able to be on the active roster until Monday, September 28 after the Lions’ Week Three game at Arizona. Kearse signed with Detroit this offseason prior to spending the first four years of his career in Minnesota.
