Former Titans and current free agent TE Delanie Walker has been working out this offseason and is drawing interest from several teams, one of those teams being the New England Patriots, per source. (Jeremy Fowler on Twitter)
The Patriots are very thin at the tight end position after Matt LaCosse decided to opt out of the 2020 season. That leaves rookies Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene to fend for the lions share of the tight end work as it stands right now. It would make a whole lot of sense for the Patriots to bring in a veteran like Walker, but the report says that “several” teams are interested in the 35-year old. Walker could potentially become a solid late-round tight end option in deeper leagues.
