Josh McCown still an option for the Eagles?

Veteran free-agent quarterback Josh McCown is not retired and could be an option at backup quarterback for the Eagles in the coming weeks if Nate Sudfeld does not improve his consistency and run away with the job, according to NFL insider Adam Caplan. (Adam Caplan, Inside the Birds Podcast)
Fantasy Impact:
To be clear, Caplan is purely speculating. But he mentions that Sudfeld is struggling with inconsistency and that McCown has not retired. If the team is not comfortable going with Sudfeld or rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts as their top backup, McCown could be a logical choice.
