Joshua Perkins placed on injured reserve

Eagles tight end Joshua Perkins was placed on injured reserve with an upper-body injury, the team announced Wednesday. (Eagles on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
While just a third tight end, Perkins emerged as a reliable pass catcher for an Eagles team that was decimated by injuries last season. With Perkins out, undrafted rookie free agent Noah Togiai is the favorite to earn a roster spot, though Caleb Wilson and the recently-signed Tyrone Swoopes will compete for that spot, as well.
