Mike Gesicki not listed as the starting TE on Dolphins initial depth chart

According to the Dolphins initial 2020 depth chart, it’s Durham Smythe, not Mike Gesicki, who is listed as the starting tight end. (Joe Schad on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
We’ve heard all offseason that Chan Gailey offenses don’t target the tight end very much, and this move seems to be in line with that concept. Smythe is a strong blocker and can open up holes in the run game. Gesicki fantasy owners certainly hope this is just a formality, and that the third-year tight end will still be utilized often in the slot as a pass-catcher. This news is enough to knock Gesicki down a few ticks in the Week 1 rankings however.
