Bengals sign ex-Raider Pat Sims

by Ryan Sura | Mon, Mar 30th 2:04pm EDT

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed yet another defensive player, in defensive tackle Pat Sims. Sims spent the first five years of his career with the Bengals, after leaving in 2012 to play for the Raiders. Sims has only seven career sacks, but is impeccable at stopping the run, which is exactly what the Bengals defense needs help with. (ProFootballRumors)

Fantasy Impact:

The Bengals have now signed DE Michael Johnson, CB Brandon Ghee, LB AJ Hawk and finally DT Pat Sims. The Bengals are looking to get their defense back to where it was two years ago, when they had the fifth best run defense in the league. With Sims to compliment Atkins in the middle and Dunlap and Johnson back on the outside, there is a very high chance that the Bengals will be a top defense in the 2015 season.
