The Kansas City Chiefs have officially signed CB Deandre Baker to their practice squad. (Paul Schwartz on Twitter)
Baker was released by the Giants in September while dealing with armed robbery allegations. After the charges were dropped he immediately became a free agent. Baker is a former Jim Thorpe Award winner (awarded to college's top defensive back) and was the first DB taken in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Chiefs not only add a talented depth piece but a potential building block for an already strong secondary unit.
