Kalen Ballage splits workload and gets 39 yards in loss

Chargers RB Kalen Ballage rushed seven times for 34 yards and caught two passes for five yards in the Chargers' 45-0 loss to the Patriots in Week 13.
Fantasy Impact:
Ballage was in a near-even timeshare with Austin Ekeler, receiving seven carries to his eight. However, with the game out of reach, Ekeler saw more snaps in the passing game. Ballage is the best handcuff for Ekeler but should not be started in the fantasy playoffs. Ballage will take on the Falcons in Week 14, where he'll continue his duties as the backup running back for the Chargers.
