Jason Verrett re-signs with the 49ers on a one-year deal

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the 49ers have re-signed CB Jason Verrett to a one-year, $5.5M deal. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After starting 13 games and totaling 60 tackles and two interceptions for the 49ers in 2020, Verrett will be staying in San Francisco for 2021. The 1-year deal is worth $5.5M and could potentially go up to $6.5M if Verrett makes the Pro Bowl. This is a move that makes a lot of sense for the 49ers especially with the likely departure of Richard Sherman.
