Darren Waller has missed last five practices

TE Darren Waller was on the sidelines at Allegiant Stadium, but he wasn’t dressed out and did not participate. He hasn't practiced since last Monday. (Tashan Reed on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Raiders HC Jon Gruden wouldn’t confirm whether the absence was injury-related, but didn’t sound concerned about his star tight end’s status. Waller has now missed the last five practices. He was spotted lifting weights during a practice session last week and jogged on the field Sunday without a noticeable limp. Waller has played in all 32 games the past two seasons and is coming off a spectacular season with 107 catches for 1,196 yards and nine touchdowns. There is a real chance he could put up even better numbers in 2021, if Bryan Edwards and Henry Ruggs can make defenses respect them, the middle could open up more for Waller. He's a no-brainer top-three tight end in fantasy leagues. Many analysts see him as the TE2, behind only Travis Kelce. We will continue to monitor this limp, but as of now it’s no reason for concern.
