Kansas City Chiefs OL Laurent Duvernay-Tardif suffered a broken hand in practice and will be ruled out four to six weeks, per Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Duvernay-Tardif does have the chance to start Week 1. However, sixth-round rookie Trey Smith out of the University of Tennessee could earn the starting right guard position due to his size and vision. This would benefit running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire in his second year with the Chiefs, as the running lanes promise to be significantly wider behind a retooled and improved offensive line.
