Quinn Nordin wins kicking competition in New England

The Patriots have decided to proceed with undrafted rookie Quinn Nordin as their starting kicker this season. The Michigan product beat out veteran Nick Folk for the job. (Field Yates on Twitter)

Nordin famously joined the Patriots as their only undrafted free agent signing after the draft. As Yates notes, the 23-year-old "was looking for jobs on LinkedIn after this past NFL Draft" and will now suit up as a member of New England's 53-man roster after an impressive preseason showing.
