Carlos Hyde leads Jaguars' backfield in touches in Week 1

by Alex Burns | Sun, Sep 12th 11:07pm EDT

Carlos Hyde rushed nine times for 44 yards and hauled in both of his targets for an additional 14 yards during Sunday's 21-37 Week 1 loss to the Texans.

Fantasy Impact:

Hyde was given four more carries than James Robinson, who lost a fumble on one of his five carries. It seems that both backs will cap each other's upside early on and it's likely that Jacksonville will be playing from behind quite a bit, forcing them to throw early and often. Hyde should still be viewed behind Robinson on the pecking order and will be a desperation FLEX play in Week 2 against the Broncos.
