Jason Verrett gets MRI to confirm torn ACL

49ers defensive back Jason Verrett got an MRI on Monday, which confirmed the speculation of his torn ACL. He now will now undergo season-ending surgery. (Matt Maiocco on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It's a huge blow for the 49ers secondary that really struggled upon Verrett's absence from Sunday's game. San Francisco loves to rely on their corners to play elite man coverage so that their front seven can roam and be more aggressive in the run game, but losing Verrett hinders the teams ability to do so. It'll be interesting to see how the Niners adjust their defense following the injury.
