Joe Mixon finds the end zone, picks up ankle injury

by Matthew Adam | Texans Correspondent | Fri, Oct 1st 5:25am EDT

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon carried the ball 16 times for 67 yards and a touchdown in a 24-21 win over the Jaguars in Week 4.

Fantasy Impact:

Mixon added one reception for no gain and scored on a one-yard run in the third quarter, but he was missing from the team's late fourth-quarter drive while walking with a slight limp. According to head coach Zac Taylor, Mixon picked up a slight ankle injury. Mixon hasn't had a huge game since Week 1 but he is seeing almost all of the backfield touches in Cincinnati through four games. Provided the ankle injury is minor, he should have plenty of time to get cleared ahead of his team's Week 5 game against the Packers.
