Jonnu Smith (shoulder) officially active for Week 8

Patriots tight end Jonnu Smith, who was listed as questionable with a shoulder injury, is active for Sunday’s game against the Chargers. (Jim McBride on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Smith was one of 14 players listed as questionable for the contest. After being limited in practice all week long, the former Titans tight end will suit up for this west-coast clash. He has been relatively inconsistent thus far, though he did post 57 scrimmage yards last Sunday. Still, as long as he is behind Hunter Henry on the depth chart, Smith can be left on the bench in most leagues.
