TE - TEN
Week 17 Outlook
Titans GM Jon Robinson made it clear in a video conference Tuesday that TE Jonnu Smith could land with a different team this offseason as his rookie deal comes to an end.
Smith, originally a third-round pick in 2017, has missed just four games in his four-year career with the Titans, totaling 1,302 yards and 16 touchdowns on 114 receptions. Smith could very well decide to move on from Tennessee, who utilized him more as a blocker this past season. Robinson told reporters he completely understands the nature of the business, and made it sound like the team is preparing to be without Smith come the 2021 season. Smith’s departure would open up playing time for both Anthony Firkser and MyCole Pruitt, or the Titans could opt to select a tight end in the upcoming draft.
Jonnu Smith caught two of three targets for nine yards in a playoff matchup on Sunday as the Titans lost to the Ravens by a 20-13 score.
Smith finishes off an inconsistent season for the Titans. The 25-year-old tight end looked like a breakout candidate but had up and down performances and finished the regular season with 41 receptions.
Jonnu Smith caught 1-of-2 targets for eight yards in the Titans' Week 17 win over the Texans by a 41-38 score.
Smith was on everyone's breakout lists going into the season as he had the top spot on the tight end depth chart. Smith had an up and down year and finishes the regular season with 41 catches, 448 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns.
Jonnu Smith caught three passes on seven targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 40-14 loss to Green Bay in Week 16 action.
Smith was second on the team in targets scored on Ryan Tannehill’s only passing touchdown of the night which helped out fantasy owners. The 25-year-old tight end has a favorable matchup against a terrible Houston defense in Week 17.
Jonnu Smith caught all five of his targets for 52 yards on Sunday as the Titans defeated the Lions by a 46-25 score in Week 15 action.
Smith had his best receiving game since Week 3 as the tight end has struggled this season. Smith is only worth owning in deeper fantasy formats.
