Randall Cobb to miss time with core muscle injury for Packers

by Avram Avramov | Packers Correspondent | Thu, Dec 9th 1:15pm EST

Per Green Bay beat writer Ryan Wood, WR Randall Cobb is "going to be out for awhile" due to a core muscle injury as stated by head coach Matt LaFleur. (Ryan Wood on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is a tough break for both Cobb and the Packers as by the sound of it the veteran WR could be facing a lengthy absence. For the Green Bay WR's this will mainly mean more responsibilities and opportunities for Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Things shouldn't change too much for alpha WR Davante Adams as he will remain the focal point offensively regardless of what happens behind him. For fantasy purposes this will slightly raise the floor for Lazard and Valdes-Scantling but they will both still be considered boom or bust plays.
