Marvin Jones Jr. catches just two passes in Sundays loss

by Evan Ritter | Jaguars Correspondent | Mon, Dec 20th 12:18pm EST

Marvin Jones Jr. caught 2-of-4 passes for 14 yards in the Jaguars Week 15 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

After catching 6-of-7 targets last week against the Titans, Marvin Jones stock looked to be on the rise, but it came crashing down again Sunday with Jones only being able to haul in 2 catches for 14 yards. Despite drawing arguably the worst defense in the NFL, which was missing a multitude of players due to COVID-19, Jones and the Jaguars weren't able to get going. However, Marvin Jones Jr. will look to get back on track in Week 16, as he and the Jaguars face off against another cake matchup in the New York Jets. The Jets are the worst defense in the NFL when it comes to points allowed, and they're second in yards allowed per game, which should keep Jones Jr. in FLEX consideration.
