Dak Prescott had successful cleanup surgery on left shoulder

Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy announced today that Dak Prescott had a cleanup surgery on his left shoulder to start the off-season, and there is ‘no concern’ about his off-season availability. (Field Yates on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Dak was visibly bothered by the injury late in the season, and may have worsened the injury in the Cowboys playoff game vs San Francisco. This off-season will now be the healthiest Dak has been in two years, and it comes at a good time for the Cowboys. Dak felt like a bit of a disappointment this past season, but he finished as the QB7 in total points, after a slow start to the season. The veteran signal-caller should be in line for another strong fantasy season in 2022. He will become a value if drops into the 7th or 8th round, after finishing QB9 in FPPG in 2021. With his offensive weapons, he should easily exceed that draft position, so keep an eye on his ADP during draft season.
