Jarvis Landry “dominating” Saints OTAs

by Sam Ryner | Fri, Jun 3rd 6:25pm EDT

According to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football, Jarvis Landry has impressed during the Saints’ OTAs. Underwood cited Landry’s production during practice, physicality, and attitude as things that have stuck out during the Saints’ early offseason program. (CBS Sports)

Fantasy Impact:

Landry has been a consistent fantasy producer throughout his eight-year career, but he has seemed to be underappreciated as a fantasy asset as of late. Landry has never finished worse than a WR3 in PPR formats in any season that he has played more than 12 games, yet he’s currently ranked as the 56th WR heading into 2022 according to FantasyPros ECR. He’s an excellent floor WR in PPR formats, but he also has upside, having finished as a WR1 three times in his career. Landry does have competition within the Saints’ WR room between Michael Thomas and Chris Olave, but Thomas hasn’t been a factor on the field in two seasons and Olave is a rookie who will need to adjust to NFL competition. It wouldn’t be surprising, especially considering early practice reports, if Landry were to be the top WR for the Saints this season, and if that does come to fruition, he will be a big draft day steal for fantasy managers.
