T.J. Vasher working his way ‘into the receiver conversation’ in Dallas

by Andersen Pickard | Mon, Jun 27th 9:08am EDT

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver T.J. Vasher "has used this offseason to get himself into the receiver conversation," according to Todd Archer of ESPN. Undrafted in 2021, Vasher has recovered from a knee injury and is now in position to compete for a 53-man roster spot. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Vasher has capitalized on his teammates' minicamp absences, making big plays amidst his expanded opportunities. "He's made some really big-time flash plays, splash plays," coach Mike McCarthy said. "He's had some really, particularly in the red zone, which you can see his ability down there. Big plays in scramble drills and things like that. I just think like any young player, particularly in his development, it's getting the details of the everyday situations." Vasher likely won't have any fantasy relevance in his second pro season, but he'll still be a great story to monitor as training camps kick into full gear.
