Fantasy Impact:

Becton sustained an avulsion fracture to his right kneecap earlier this month and reportedly will undergo surgery within the week. He was a highly lauded tackle coming out of Louisville, specifically for his atypical mash-up of size and speed. Unfortunately, the former 11th-overall pick has had a tough go of it when it comes to staying healthy. In his sophomore season last year, he dislocated his right kneecap and sprained his right MCL in Week 1 causing him to miss the rest of the season. Becton was supposed to be the Jets’ potential long-term solution at tackle, but injuring the same knee twice is going to pose a significant hurdle for the 6’7”, 364-pound lineman. George Fant is projected to step in for Becton at right tackle for the Jets as five-time Pro Bowl selection Duane Brown will man the left side.
