Dan Arnold catches two balls in loss Saturday

Dan Arnold caught 2-of-3 targets for 22 yards in Jacksonville’s 16-15 loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday night.
Fantasy Impact:
Arnold will begin the season as the #2 right end on the Jags. However, head coach Doug Pederson used to like to call a lot of plays from the heavy 12 set during his time in Philly that featured two tight ends so Arnold could see more snaps where he’s running routes than a typical backup tight end. Arnold has caught 66 balls for 846 yards and four touchdowns between three teams in the past two seasons. All four of those touchdowns came in 2020 but he could easily catch 50 balls or more those season, especially if starter Evan Engram’s injury history becomes an issue. Fantasy managers, especially those who take Engram, should at least keep an eye on Arnold if the former is sidelined for any period of time.
