Michael Gallup (knee) not expected to play Week 1

Fantasy Impact:
Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy said there have been no setbacks which is why Gallup was able to avoid the PUP list. It sounds like at this rate, a return in Week 2 or Week 3 sounds likely. With a lot of targets opened up this offseason on the Cowboys offense, Gallup figures to compete with rookie Jalen Tolbert for the No. 2 wide receiver role behind CeeDee Lamb. Gallup probably has the edge up given his experience if he can return healthy to the field soon.
