New Orleans S Tyrann Mathieu missed practice with an illness and is listed as questionable ahead of the Saints' Week 1 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons, according to ESPN's Field Yates. (Field Yates on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Mathieu was one of the Saints' big offseason acquisitions and is expected to play a major role. The team was confident in their safety/slot group enough to the point where they shipped off C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the Philadelphia Eagles. Mathieu will likely be good to go against the Falcons and, against what looks like a weak offense, the Saints DST is a strong streaming defense for opening week.
