According to Ari Meirov of the33rdteam.com, the Tennessee Titans are releasing WR Robert Woods after just one season with the team. (Ari Meirov on Twitter)

The move is made to save cap as the Titans will clear up $12 million in the process, according to Meirov. Woods led the Titans in receiving in 2022, posting 527 yards on 53 catches as the Titans offense struggled, scoring just 17.5 points a game. This clears the way for soon-to-be-second-year players WR Treylon Burks and TE Chigoziem Okonkwo and allows Woods to explore free agency.
