Baker Mayfield agrees to deal with Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield has agreed to a one-year, $8.5 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers according to Tom Pelissero. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Mayfield will get the opportunity to compete for the starting quarterback job with Kyle Trask for a Tampa Bay team transitioning after Tom Brady announced his retirement at the end of the 2022 season. The quarterback did enough at the end of the season as the starter for the Los Angeles Rams to receive new life once again.
