D'Andre Swift being traded to Philadelphia Eagles

The Lions are trading RB D'Andre Swift to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2025 fourth-round pick and a seventh-round pick swap in the 2023 NFL Draft. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Swift became available immediately after the Lions surprised everyone by taking Alabama RB Jahmyr Gibbs in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and the Eagles traded future draft capital in order to acquire him. Philadelphia also signed Rashaad Penny to a one-year deal this offseason, so Swift is entering a somewhat crowded stable of running backs that includes Penny, Kenneth Gainwell, and Boston Scott. Penny and Swift both have injury histories and may share lead duties unless one separates himself from the pack this Summer.
