Isaiah Rodgers Sr. probed by NFL for gambling charge

According to a report by Stephen Holder and David Purdum of ESPN, the Indianapolis Colts’ DB and return man Isaiah Rodgers Sr. is being probed by the league for a potential violation of gambling policies. (Stephen Holder and David Purdum, ESPN)

Rodgers allegedly placed approximately 100 bets, mostly within the range of $25 to $50. As well, Rodgers allegedly bet on Colts games. Rodgers is entering the final year of his rookie deal after being a sixth-round pick. Rodgers averages over 27 yards per kick return on his career with one career return for a TD. Rodgers also had three interceptions in 2021 and four fumble recoveries in 2022, playing 43% of the team’s defensive snaps. Rodgers, if found in violation of league rules, could be facing a large suspension.
