by Steve Painter | Sat, Aug 1st 10:05pm EDT
He averaged 5 yards per carry last year and scored three TDs as an UDFA out of Duke. He is performing very well and is challenging Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball for the No. 2 spot. Coach Gary Kubiak said, "Forty (Thompson's number) looked unbelievable today, He's built for what we do." (9 News Denver)
Fantasy Impact:
Anytime a HC says this, take the message seriously. This now puts Thompson on the fantasy radar and drafters need to watch this situation develop. Those in Dynasty Leagues should add him immediately.
