On Monday, the Lions placed defensive tackle Haloti Ngata on the NFI List with a hamstring injury, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. (NFL)

Fantasy Impact:

Ngata has showed durability throughout his career, appearing in 135 games in nine seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. Detroit traded for the five-time All-Pro in March to help fill the void left when Ndamukong Suh signed with the Miami Dolphins. The hamstring injury is believed to be minor and Ngata will be free to rejoin training camp practices whenever he is ready. In the meantime, second-year tackle Caraun Reid and fourth-year defensive end Tyrunn Walker are expected to split first-team reps.
